Buffalo Library Sells Thousands Of Items At 50¢ Each

From August 7th - 9th, the Downtown Central Library will sell books, audio books, CDs, DVDs, VHS and record albums for 50¢

From August 7th - 9th, the Downtown Central Library will sell books, audio books, CDs, DVDs, VHS and record albums for 50¢

Beginning Thursday, August 7, thousands of items –books, books on CD, DVDs, VHS, record albums - will each be sold for 50 cents as part of the Downtown Central Library's annual fundraiser.

The materials being sold are discards and books donated specifically for the Book Sale. Money raised goes toward the purchase of new Library materials at Buffalo & Erie County Public Libraries.

Hours are:

  • Preview Sale (Thurs., Aug 7, 8:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. $5. donation for admittance and everything is 50 cents).
  • Thurs., Aug 7 – from 12 noon – 6 p.m. - everything is 50 cents
  • Fri, Aug 8 – from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. - everything is 50 cents
  • Sat., Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. - everything is 50 cents
