We love living in Buffalo, and feel no need to sugarcoat what it is... or apologize for what it's not. This is our perspective of what Buffalo is "really" all about for the people who choose to live, work, and play here.
The way I see it, our city has been taking way too many punches for way too long.
We know we get snow. We get a ton of snow.
But we sure as hell don't have wild fires. Or hurricanes.
We've been around. We have the kind of history you can feel. A thousand places that you're not going to find in cities like Charlotte, or Vegas.
You know what? Buffalo is real.
It's got character. There are villages. There are towns. There are neighborhoods. Try finding that in Phoenix.
We have tradition.
We have icons and legends. We crave football. And bleed hockey.
Sure, we've never won a championship. But instead of tearing us apart, it brings us closer together.
We're not South Beach. We're not even Myrtle Beach. But don't try to tell me you can't find a good party around here.
In Buffalo, we drink together. We laugh together. We cry together.
Our families are from here. It's where we grew up. It's where if you screw up, you'd hurt your whole family.
And our whole city feels like a family.
That's Buffalo. That's the real Buffalo.
